Brilliant!

Amazing! You've taken a terrible game off of Action 52 and made it a good game. Well Done! Don't know why no one has thought to do this yet. Love the references to other games as well.

Good game,

It has a few issues that I personally don't care for, but are no reason for a poor score. The only computer I use is a laptop. The aim and fire using a mouse is a pain to do with a laptop, and no option for another means of firing loses you a point. The enemies are too tough with the small machine gun right off the bat and come in three's too soon with that bad weapon. I would recommend that if the enemies are to come in greater numbers almost right off the bat, then have them take one bullet to take down. In other words the other point lost has to do with a balancing issue between your ship and the enemies.

Good game, but bad ending.

This game played well, seemed fairly well balanced, and had no major glitches or bugs. However, then ending was terrible. I expected something cool, but all I got was just a message saying good job you won.

Fun puzzle

Promising game.

This game shows alot of promise. The battle system is revolutionary, but is fun and hasn't been done to death like so many other games here on newgrounds. The programming was done fairly well and there didn't seem to be any bugs or glitches that I could see. The only flaws that I could see that could keep this game from turning into a hit, is the artwork. The background isn't bad, but the characters and monsters are. If possible try to recruit a better artist to draw the character models and overworld character models. There was not enough potions, but that can be overlooked since this is a demo. The heal spell should not take as long as it does. I'll spend a second healing just to be attacked and lose the health I just gained. The swords were cool, but with names like megiddo and armageddon I expected more. There needs to be some effect that happen with the blades when attacking, like a flaming trail as the sword slices through the air or something. Put simply, the blade needs to do more than just slice through the air and hit if they are to be called legendary names like that. The character also needs to be able to move across the world map at more than a snail's pace. He needs to be able to walk and run, he can still hit monsters in proportion to his speed, but the slow crawl got old quickly. Also, just an option, but the magic and special skill need to be accessible with a button push like "asd" keys. I wouldn't have written this review if I didn't feel the game had real potential, and I hope you keep with it and develope this game's potential. Good luck.

RockLou responds:

Everything you get in the end is basically things that aren't really done yet - they're part of the later stages in the game. I plan on doing the swords more badass, and yes even the names. The names were kind of just there to fill that part up.

Running will probably be available in the finished game, and there will even be a horse, atleast I plan to have one.
Healing... yeah you might have a point.
Thanks for the review.

Way too easy.

I just beat the game with the starting ship. The upgrade ships were worthless because beating the game is easy enough with the basic little ship you start with.

The music was good and the concept was sound, but the game was just too easy. I got no satisfaction from beating it and couldn't enjoy the unlockable bonuses because of it.

I suggest making enemies do far more damage when the collide with your ship. and maybe even add enemies that fire on you with their own bad pixels.

I look forward to your next work, because this one had alot of potential.

Good game, but...

This was not a bad game by any means, but there is room for improvement.

First, the score does not reset after defeat and just compounds from game to game. The score needs to reset.

Second, the flowers flash so fast that there is not even time to get to the flower before the flash is gone. The flashing needs to be alittle slower and the flowers alittle futher apart.

Third, the bee could be alittle cuter, he is the main focus of the game and needs to be an attention graber for the player, as it stands now he is kind of bland.

Everything else was well done from the instructions to the concept. Good job!

Good Game, but...

This is a good game, but so was the original which this game is almost exactly like. The only different things are the music and gameplay. The music is an upgrade and is not bad, but the gameplay has changed and has become easier. The aliens do not speed up as more are taken out, the red bonus saucer comes way too much, and there is no record of your highest score.
In the future try to make your own original game instead of trying to survive off the fame and success of others.

TheShyGuy responds:

I have made my own original game :D, check out "angrai faic rampage". I wasnt trying to leech the fame of space invaders, i just wanted to remake a classic game so others can enjoy.

Ill try and get the highest score thing fixed asap

Great Game!

This is an awsome game with a simple idea as its foundation. My personal record is 7,500 feet. I achieved it after about a hundred flights. Great job with this game!
